Summary
User is experiencing issues with numeric and date data types being converted to string when synchronizing data from Google Sheets to MySQL using Airbyte. They seek a solution to properly handle these data types.
Question
Hi everyone. I have installed airbyte, mysql, metabase on our internal server. I use airbyte to synchronize data from google sheets to mysql but I have problems with numeric and date data, when entering mysql it is changed to string(text). I can’t configure airbyte to change that. I switched to using csv and excel files as input sources and was able to convert numeric data into mysql. However, date data is still string(text). Please help me see if there is any way or solution to handle this problem? Thank you very much.
