Hi community
Has anyone successfully deployed abctl

using the CloudSQL Proxy
to reach an external CloudSQL instance?
Thanks

(using a simple CloudSQL Proxy on the VM, not on the abctl K8 cluster)
we also tried deploying a pod with the CloudSQLProxy on the abctl K8 namespace but not better
(we don’t have a lot of bandwidth to devote to this investigation subject, if you have already succeeded on your side in this “typical” deployment, we would be interested in your findings
)
Hi <@U07FH2Y34A1>, any idea on how to help us ?
Sorry, I’m not sure. We haven’t tried abctl with CloudSQLProxy before.
Thanks Alex, any way to prioritize it to add an entry in the official documentation ?
I suppose running abctl on a GCP VM using Cloud SQL Proxy is a typical use case
I’d love to help, but honestly I don’t know exactly when we’ll have time to test out abctl + Cloud SQL Proxy
Have you tried this and it’s not working?
Are you getting a specific error?
