Some users want to know how many hours they needs to transfer 100Gb or 1MM records from a Database or a API Source to their Data Warehouse. Today this answer is not possible to estimate for some reasons:
- If you are moving data from a Source API the provider can have quota limitation or different tiers to get data.
- If you are moving from a Database to a Data Warehouse probably both are running in different networks and the Airbyte server in other region, this create a complex path to estimate the right time to finished.
In the future we hope to have better benchmarks showing some examples of data transfer between same region, to different regions to give some rough ideas about how much time takes to finish your sync.
