Issue with schema change propagation from MySQL to Snowflake using CDC connector. Changes are not automatically replicated despite ‘Propagate all streams and fields’ setting being defined.

Hi 
I am testing schema change propagation from MySQL to Snowflake (with CDC) and when I add a column it does not automatically replicate that change even tough I have the “Propagate all streams and fields” setting defined (attached) and there have been several syncs since I have changed this config.
It will only copy the change if I manually “refresh the source schemas”
Can anyone assist?
