Trouble connecting Airbyte to MSSQL server with CDC enabled


The user is facing issues connecting Airbyte to an MSSQL server with CDC enabled. They are receiving a ‘server temporarily unavailable’ message after around 5 minutes of setup. The console shows primary keys being fetched but no further progress.


I’m having trouble connecting Airbyte to an MSSQL server (~17 million rows, although only ~50k in the CDC enabled table). While trying to set up the connection, I always receive a server temporarily unavailable message after around 5 minutes. CDC is enabled and permissions should be correct. I can’t seem to find any documented solution, what am I missing?

Airbyte is running on Docker, and MSSQL is running on premises somewhere.

The console shows all the primary keys being fetched, and then nothing else relevant seems to happen.
