Trouble installing abctl on Ubuntu

Summary

User is facing issues installing abctl on Ubuntu as the unpacked folder does not match the expected structure. They are unable to proceed with the chmod command.

Question

Hi dear community members, i am probably missing something very obvious, but i can’t seem to get the airbyte abctl installed on ubuntu. When following the instructions on https://docs.airbyte.com/using-airbyte/getting-started/oss-quickstart, i download the latest tarball from the releases from github. When i unpack this with tar -xvzf abctl-v0.8.2-linux-amd64.tar.gz i unpack a folder with the same name abctl-v0.8.2-linux-amd64 , containing a file without extension called abctl.

The next step: chmod +x abctl/abctl obviously doesnt work, since i dont have a abctl directory. Can somebody point me in the right direction what i am doing wrong here?
