Building Custom Connector FROM python:3.9.11-alpine3.15 as base

Hi Team,

It takes ages to build the connector using FROM python:3.9.11-alpine3.15 as base with Airbyte version: 0.40.3 (all from latest version), because the wheel packages pandas and numpy are not supported in images based on Alpine platform according to this post.

Hi @ujinlabr, thanks for your post. Could you be more specific with how long the build takes? We haven’t received too many user reports regarding this but if it’s a simple change in our cdk, it may be worth looking into. Thanks in advance and welcome to the community!
