Summary
User is facing UnauthorizedServiceAccountError when trying to connect Google Search Console using Service Account Key Authentication method. They are unsure about the impact of not having Google Workspace on the connector.
Question
Has anyone successfully connected Google Search Console using the Service Account Key Authentication method?
I am continuing to receive the following error:
"UnauthorizedServiceAccountError('Unable to connect with provided Service Account credentials. Make sure the `sevice account credentials` provided are valid.')"
I have followed the instructions outlined in the Setup Guide and am using the same Google Service Account that is successfully running on a Google Analytics connector. What I think has me hung up is the note on the Admin Email
field for the source connector. It states "The email of the user which has permissions to access the Google Workspace Admin APIs.". I have been advised our org does not have a Google Workspace, does anyone know how/why that would impact our Google Search Console and therefore this connector?
Edit: I realize this might be more of a Google question, but I figure there has to be someone in a similar boat who has specifically tried using Airbyte to access this API/data.
