Extracting code from Docker container and resolving dependency issues in Airbyte platform repository

Summary

User is looking to extract code from Docker container and facing dependency issues when running Airbyte platform repository with Gradle.

Question

Hi Community,

We’ve recently started using Airbyte and set up the Self-Managed Community (OSS) version. After installing abctl and successfully running Airbyte on our local server, we’re now interested in exploring the codebase, making modifications, and testing them.

We’d like to know how we can extract the code from the Docker container, or if there’s a GitHub repository for the Airbyte platform. We’ve cloned the repository at [https://github.com/airbytehq/airbyte-platform](https://github.com/airbytehq/airbyte-platform), but when attempting to run it using Gradle, we encountered several dependency issues. Could anyone offer some guidance on how to resolve this?
