Summary
User inquires about handling discrepancies in Google Ads data synchronization with Airbyte, specifically regarding retroactive updates to impressions and the possibility of implementing a sliding sync window for accurate data capture in BigQuery.
Question
Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding Google Ads data synchronization with Airbyte. Currently, we are syncing data day-by-day into BigQuery, but we’ve noticed discrepancies after 48 to 72 hours, especially in impressions, as Google sometimes updates these data retroactively.
For conversions, Google’s Conversion Window feature allows data adjustments by re-checking them. Is there a similar feature in Airbyte for impressions and other metrics to ensure the synced data remains accurate and up-to-date in BigQuery? Alternatively, is there a way to configure a sliding sync window (e.g., for the last 7 days) to capture these retroactive changes?
Thanks in advance for any insights!
