Merging Airbyte internal tables for streams in Snowflake destination v2

Summary

When upgrading to Destination v2 in Snowflake, there are two Airbyte internal tables for streams with different separators. The user wants to merge them into a single table per stream.

Question

I upgraded an incremental connection with a Snowflake destination to Destination v2. I copied the existing airbyte internal data to the expected new structure. I now have two airbyte internal tables for streams. (One with double underscore and one with triple underscore separators. ie, public_raw__stream_source and public_raw___stream_source). How can I safely merge the two airbyte internal tables so there is only one per stream?
