Questions about using open source version on local server and connecting to API

Summary

User is asking about using the open source version on a local server, using Docker for connection, and difficulties connecting to the API. They are unsure if creating an application is possible in the OSS version.

Question

Hi all, i am a bit of a noob but having a lot of fun already! but i do have some questions: i am using the open source version on a local server. I have two questions:
• I have used docker as abctl did not allow me to connect to the server within the network, is this correct?
• Additionally i am trying to conect with the API, however i do not seem to see the options needed (create a application), is this an error on my installation or just not possible on the oss version? (see screenshot?)

tl;dr; use default application available

  1. abctl now exposes the network the same as docker-compose was doing :slightly_smiling_face: (try the latest version)
  2. OSS version has only one application which is the default app

You can also get the credentials running abctl local credentials.
