We are looking for some help on building a custom connector for Workday in Airbyte. Did anyone have success on this ? Appreciate any guidance on this.

I haven’t had to work with it, but I do know that Workday is one of the few connectors that are currently only available in Self-Managed Enterprise (SME) or the Team version of Cloud:

There’s nothing that would probably keep you from building a light version of that, but just in case either of those are relevant I wanted to flag it for you!
thank you for the details <@U035912NS77>, yes we did check this out earlier. However our current use-case is strictly Airbyte OSS evaluation 
Cool. If you have a specific issue you’re running into, feel free to drop it in the channel . . . you’ll be more likely to get an answer to a specific vs. general question in my experience.
Agreed, just wanted to see if someone has already been there or if we are going to invent the wheel
We have folks using both report based syncs and REST-based streams of Workday Enterprise.
We’ve literally been there, and you’re welcome to use the existing wheels. It’s just that they’re not free
