Summary
Users are facing challenges in getting approval for advanced access to sync Facebook ads data to Bigquery via Airbyte. They are seeking advice and examples of successful descriptions and videos for the app review process.
Question
Hi Everyone, I am using Airbyte to sync data from Facebook ads to Bigquery. In order to sync full data, we need to request for advanced access.
I tried to request and add description on What Airbyte do to collect data from Facebook, but got rejected multiple time
Has anyone tried and get “approval” for app review process? If that is the case, would you mind sharing description and video you made to get approved?
Thank you

Thanks <@U066U84SC0P>, that helps a lot.

I achieved this by creating a simple jekyll website that briefly explains an ETL concept with an AI logo and a matching name/domain to my Facebook app (if your company already has a website this will be way faster).
yea my company has a website but just for displaying company products and promotion, obviously you can’t find description of ETL concept there.
In that case, do i need to create a separate like what you did to explain an ETL concept?
Probably not! The website is relevant for the tech provider business verification part. Shouldn’t affect the advanced permissions review

However, like you, i also need to provide a link to prove that the business is tech provider (of course my company is not). So i need to my the website
if possible, can you help sharing the soruce code you use for your website please? Thank you
This process is a pain. I was able to iteratively request advanced access to permissions by providing a detailed description of how one logs into Airbyte and configures the connection. I provided a public URL and the oauth username and password. I left a demo Facebook connection to BQ so they could inspect. I also had to provide a demo access to BigQuery via an account I created just for this purpose.

I recommend you go one or two at most permissions at a time, otherwise they tend to reject more easily. For the reason for the upgrades, simply say you are getting rate limited and you need this permission in order to increase the limits.
For the video, I followed the exact steps I provided as text, with super expressive (and almost violent tbh) mouse movements: go to the public airbyte instance, open the source, open the app in another tab, place the token, set up the connection etc. I had ready a historical log with the rate limiting error, and I showed it in the video.
