Non-root ORACLE connector

  • OS Version / Instance: CentOS 7
  • Memory / Disk: 12GB / 4 cores
  • Deployment: Docker
  • Airbyte Version: 0.40.0 alpha

All ORACLE database connection - irrespective of what user specified on connection string - use “root” as OS_USER. Is there a way to get around this (our organization prohibits root OS_USER access).

It looks like this might be a bug. I’ll work on replicating it internally, and then the next step would be creating a GitHub issue.
