Using in-cluster postgres instance as a source connector in Airbyte on Kubernetes

Summary

Troubleshooting steps for connecting in-cluster postgres instance as a source connector in Airbyte on Kubernetes

Question

Has anyone tried to use a in-cluster postgres instance as a source connector when deploying airbyte on a Kubernetes cluster? I’m unable to get the instance to connect and I’m wondering if others have any troubleshooting steps.

I have a GCP Cloud SQL Proxy running as a service in the same namespace as the airbyte deployment, and then I am specifying the service name as the database host.
