Zendesk Connector Start Dates Issue

Summary

The user reports that the Zendesk connector ignores manual state changes for the ticket and ticket_comments streams, resetting to default during the next run. They seek a workaround to fetch data from the last few days despite the connector’s limitations with start dates.

Question

Hi everyone,

TL;DR:
Zendesk connector ignores start dates for ticket and ticket_comments streams, resetting manual state changes on the next run. Any workaround to fetch data from the last few days?

Question and Details:

We recently started using the Zendesk connector and encountered an issue. It doesn’t seem to respect the start date for the ticket and ticket_comments streams, even though both streams are incremental, and there’s no restriction in the Zendesk API for fetching data starting from a specific timestamp.

When I manually update the connector state for these streams, the changes are overwritten during the next run.

Is there any workaround to fetch data from Zendesk for the last few days for these streams?

Thanks in advance!
